Animals, Right?

Without noticing, today's Three Things all share something in common - they are animals (sort of)!

Our mother is a veterinarian, so the love of animals runs deep in all of us, though it manifests itself in all of us a little differently:

I was obsessed with spiders as a child, though too terrified to actually care for one as a pet. Now I just want a pomeranian.

Sister 2 loves all things big and small and has been a dolphin trainer, gator researcher, zoo keeper, and now dolphin trainer again.

Sister 1 has a passion for mythology and fantasy - and that includes the fascinating creatures inhabiting those stories! And dinosaurs. She likes dinosaurs.

Todays Three Things (from my local Target store):

Sister 1: Triceratops Alarm Clock

This one is pretty self explanatory. I already told you she likes dinos, but, this one is her all-time fave. I bet it's not scientifically accurate and I bet Sister 1 would love to tell you all about it while sharing a plate of Chessmen cookies.

 Sister 2: Decorative Crab

Okay, I lied. Sister 2 does not like all things big and small. She may have had a bad experience with a pet crab at one time or another. But, we love to torture her with fake crabs! And I think she genuinely enjoys it too, unless they can hide...

Sister 1: Uni-Corn Corn Cob Holders

I have always enjoyed a good unicorn (not the same as a pegasus, guys), but over the last few months, my love for them has grown infinitely. The details are not important. What is important, is that corn on the cob was a staple in family dinners of the past, and my mother had quite the collection of corn cob holders. These bring back all those memories and celebrate the whimsy of my own personality.
