Summer Sandals: Discounted Online Edition

A few nights ago, I was having a real hard time sticking to my commitment. I was on the phone with my boyfriend begging him to stop me from checking out on ninewest.com with a pair of sweet sandals that were only $20 with all of my combined discounts (here)! Fortunately, we got through it and I thought, DUH - this is exactly the situation for which I made Three Things for Three Sisters!

Today's Things from ninewest.com's Friends&Family Sale (additional 30% off at checkout):

Sister 1: Sequin from the Nine West Vintage America Collection, 79.99

Sister 1 is not all about crazy patterns and blinged out shoes - and especially not about a heel. She is about subtle color that blends easily with her existing wardrobe and compliments her choice of toe nail polish. A plus is the Grecian (or Roman, you would have to ask her) influence of these slides. The straps look as though they'll hold the foot in pretty well and the heel is very moderate. It's the perfect sandal to dress up or down, which is good if she plans to do any traveling this summer (she might have a shoe packing problem).

Sister 2: Wits, 49.99 orig. 69.99

Sister 2, as we already know, likes a good sea creature. These sandals come in several bright summer colors, each with a bedazzled seahorse to match. Though she is not your average "pink" girl, I chose this color for Sister 2 because she recently acquired a pair of amazing pattern shorts in white/navy/fuchsia from Gap and I know she would want something extra special (and a little bizarre, let's be honest) to pair with them. One time she bought a rhinestone octopus ring. 'Nough said.

Sister 3: Sandcastle from Kirna Zabete for Nine West, 79.99

The minute I saw these I knew I would be fantasizing about them and involuntarily planning outfits to pair with them for weeks. They are simple, neutral, but oh my gosh - those STONES. The varied size stone has been trending for awhile. For me, on the simplest of summer slide sandals, this is the most brilliant, understated (but who are we kidding) way to utilize the embellishment. I need. But I shan't indulge.
